GWA SC member attends kick-of meeting of 5th World Water Forum
17-21 March 2007 the Kick-of meeting of the 5th World water Forum took place in Instanbul, Turkey. In the person of Catharien Terwisscha van Scheltinga of the Steering Committee, the Gender and Water Alliance participated in this meeting. A large number of issues was highlighted, among which communication within and outside the sector was repeatedly mentioned. GWA is striving for a proper inclusion of gender issues at WWF5. During the process leading to the 5th World Water Forum GWA will work together with other organisations towards achieving this.
