Session: "Safe, accessible, private and nearby : making services work for women -- the key to meeting the MDG water and sanitation target"
GWA co-convened the topic session called “Safe, accessible, private and nearby:involving women in managing water and sanitation—the key to meeting the MDGs“ together with the Gender and Water Task Force, the Beacon Team, headed by Roberto Lenton, UNICEF, UNDP and UN-Habitat.
In this session 5 local actions were presented, of which two by GWA members. Comments were made by 4 experts, one of them being the chairlady of GWA; Ethnè Davey.
