Participation in National/Regional/ International Events:

GWAPB participated in the South Asia Right to Food (SARF) Conference, held in Dhaka from May 30 to June 1, 2015

Partnering with the Department of Women and Gender Studies (DWGS), University of Dhaka GWAPB conducted a parallel session (session 3) on ‘Gender and natural resource management’ (27 March 2015) at the 3 day International Conference on Gender Diversity and Development held from 27 – 29 March 2015, in Dhaka.

GWAPB participated in the International Conference on “Gender and Women Empowerment”, organized by the Institute of Microfinance. The conference was held in Dhaka from 13-14 November, 2014.

In November 2014 GWAPB participated in the Global Water Gender and Development Conference in South Africa. Safina Naznin, GWAPB gender and WASH specialist, presented a poster titled "Gender Analysis on household based water management of a selected slum of Dhaka" in the event.
Nazmun Naher, Programme Specialist – Gender and Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), participated in the International Conference on Mountain People Adapting to Change, organized by The International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD). The conference was held in Kathmandu, Nepal on 9-12 November, 2014. Nazmun was one of the Winners of the poster competition.
