Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI)
Since 2004 SIWI regularly asks GWA advise concerning gained experiences in the South which can be presented during the yearly Stockholm Water Week. The Stockholm Water Week acts as a platform where local cases with specific attention for women and men are presented to the international water profession world. In 2005 Ms. Mariela Garcia Vargas, one of GWA members, spoke at the opening session and in 2006 and 2006 GWA organised a seminar at the World Water Week.
