GWA attends Cap-Net managers meeting 2007
Esther de Jong, Programme Officer of GWA, attended the Cap-Net managers meeting which took place in Paraty, Brazil, from 3-7 December 2007. She presented the strategic plan 2006-2010 of GWA and focussed on possibilities for cooperation between both networks. Many useful contacts have been made and reinforced between GWA and the regional Cap-Net organisations.

Resource guide on gender and IWRM (2006)
This resource guide on gender and IWRM isis a reference guide that should be used in conjunction with the texts and materials to which it refers. It is meant to assist water and gender practitioners and professionals as well as persons responsible for gender mainstreaming, and anybody else who is interested in the water sector.

e - conferences
The Gender and Water Alliance convened three series of e-conferences up til date. From January-September 2002 an e-conference series titled "Successes and Failures in Gender Mainstreaming in Integrated Water Resources Management" was conducted, in 2005 an e-conference was held titled "Gender Mainstreaming in Water Management for Agriculture" and in 2007 the e-conference "Gender, Water and Integrity" took place.

GWA Chair attends Seminar on Water and Micro-finance: Exploring Innovative Partnerships, 2007
On the occasion of the state visit by the Dutch royalty, the Royal Netherlands Embassy, New Delhi, India, organised a high profile seminar that was attended by Dr. Sara Ahmed, Chair of the Gender and Water Alliance.
