Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC)

Through a Memory of Understanding the exchange of information and knowledge between GWA and WSSCC is enhanced. From 2006-2009 GWA also had a seat in the Steering Committee of WSSCC. GWA gave technical advice to the "Women Leaders for the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Programme (WASH)-programme", a platform for lobbying and advocacy for the specific interests of women and girls in the water and sanitation sectors. Furthermore GWA and WSSCC collaborated in the joint publication "For her it's the big issue", an evidence report on the importance om mainstreaming gender in WASH.
