Water Integrity Network (WIN)

The Water Integrity Network (WIN) was formed in 2006 to respond to increasing concerns among water and anti-corruption stakeholders over corruption in the water sector. GWA joined the WIN in January 2007 as a member and with this membership the GWA accepts the network's beliefs and standards including accountability, transparency, integrity, poverty-orientation. In October 2008, GWA and WIN cooperated by organising a workshop on Gender, Water and Intergrity in Costa Rica. In 2009 joined the Capacity Building Task Force of WIN to ensure attention for the specific gender aspects related to corruption in the water sector.
