Tool for mainstreaming gender in agricultural water programmes published
Togther with FAO and GEWAMED, GWA has developed a practical tool for water professionals in the agricultural sector.
The "Passport to Mainstreaming Gender in Water Programmes. Key questions for interventions in the agricultural sector" is a practical tool designed for the rapid identification of the main gender-related problems and gaps that require attention during the design, implementation and monitoring of a agricultural water project or programme. It can also be used to identify gender aspects of existing problems in operational projects and provide inputs for improvements. It is available in English, Spanish and French.
