Advocacy and Policy influencing
GWA thinks it highly important to mainstream gender in national and international laws and legislation. Therefore GWA supports its members and other key stakeholders in promoting attention to gender issues in the development and implementation of water related policies. GWA does not only focus on governments in this respect, but also on international organisations working in the water sector, like UN organisations, regional development banks and donor organisations.
